Eau Claire Babe Ruth Baseball
Middle School Division
The Middle School Division of the Eau Claire Fall Baseball League is for players entering 7th and 8th grades for the upcoming school year. The emphasis of the ECFBL is player development and to provide players the opportunity to continue to develop their skills in the fall.
The ECFBL season consists of doubleheaders played on Saturdays for 4 weeks with each team practicing twice per week during the season. The Middle School Division season typically starts the 2nd week of August and ends the middle of September.
Program Information:
- Non-parent coaches: Our fall league teams are coached by non-parent coaches, most of which are current players at Eau Claire Memorial, North, and Regis.
- 10+ games for each team: Each team plays two games each weekend with playoffs the last weekend of the season to determine the league champion.
- 2 practices each week: With our emphasis on player development, each team will have two practices each week during the course of the season. When combined with the game schedule, that means that each player gets 50+ hours of baseball during the course of the fall season.
- All games played at Mt. Simon Park on full-sized baseball fields: We play all of our games on full-sized fields to help our players transition from Little League to the big field.
Late fees will be assessed to anyone who registers after July 31st. Players registered after August 6th will not be guaranteed team placement.
