Preseason Clinics

We are kicking things off with some preseason skills sessions for our Rookies, Minors, Majors, 8u, 10u and 12u softball players. These skill sessions will include instruction and high volume repetitions from our coaches. We will also use these skill sessions as a portion of our overall player evaluations. Please see the short descriptions below for each session.

All sessions are FREE for registered Eau Claire Americans players. Sessions are $10 for non-registered players.

 

February 21st

Hitting Clinic

Time:
7:00-8:30 PM

Location:
Momentum Baseball Academy, 1323 Bob Brown Blvd, Altoona, WI 54720

Come dust off the winter rust by attending a basic hitting clinic. This clinic will focus on the basic fundamentals of hitting to help the players get back into the swing of things. Players will work through stations to help develop their hitting skills.

March 14th

Pitching/Catching Clinic

Time:
7:00-8:30 PM

Location:
Momentum Baseball Academy, 1323 Bob Brown Blvd, Altoona, WI 54720

This clinic is beneficial for pitchers of all ages, as we will work from the basics of good mechanics to small bullpen sessions. Catchers will work on the fundamentals of the catching position as well as be able to catch live sessions.

March 7th

Hitting Clinic

This clinic will build off of the first hitting clinic by teaching players and working them through new drills to help them gear up for the season ahead. Players will again work through stations during this clinic.

March 20th

All Skills Session

Time:
Rookies and All Softball - 6:30-8:00PM
Minors and Majors - 7:00-8:30PM

Location:
The Sonnentag Center, 1075 Menomonie St, Eau Claire, WI 54703

This clinic will focus on all aspects of baseball and softball. Players will learn and practice proper warm ups, run through fielding, hitting and baserunning drills and work on game situation activities. We require all players to be at this session. If you cannot make it please let me know.
